We welcome the contributions of anyone who wishes to help Operation Locate Our Children. Support can come in the form of a financial gift, or the donation of an item that strengthens our efforts for Wisconsin children. For ideas, look at the list below or email us at info@locateourchildren.org and ask about all the ways you can show you care.
Good reliable automobiles - we travel throughout the state and are in need of reliable cars or vans.
Office equipment, including:
- Copy machines - Capable of copying, reducing, and enlarging photos of missing children. A color copier would be especially effective.
- Computers - We need a computer for general office, one for case work, and one for graphic work such as posters of missing children and informative posters for lectures and public awareness.
- Laptop computers - We need the ability to work where the day finds us.
- Scanner - To scan photos for posters.
- Fax machines - For volunteers who staff our 24 hour hot line at home on nights and weekends.
- Cellular phones/pagers and cellular service - Because of the urgency of the work and the traveling, we need to be reached at all times.
Teaching aids:
- VCRs
- Video cameras
- Overhead projectors
- Slide projectors
- Portable display boards
- Video monitors
Above all, our mission demands financial support for operating expenses. We receive no funding from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, or from any government agency. We are funded strictly by volunteers. Any support sent to us goes directly to helping families.
